Suit Specifics

  • 7 mm thickness - Lots of warmth
  • Full Length
  • Kevlar knee coverings for added support
  • This model comes in a Front Zipper
  • Comes with arm and leg zippers to make the suit easier to get on and off
  • YKK #10 Non-Corrosive Zipper
  • Nice cross zip design for easy relief
  • Comes in a Blue/Black

This suit has wrist and leg zippers. This is an upgrade from the basic suit, which allows for a much easier in and out of the suit. For those with large hands and feet, this is a really nice option. Keep in mind if you are too short for the suit, avoid the leg zipper models as it will be hard to roll up or cut these off.

The front zipper is popular for some as it is easier to zip something in front of you than behind. Front zippers are a good feature if you want to “air out” when above the water. The flexible neoprene with nylon outer skin provides a very comfortable barrier from the outside conditions.

Please check out our chart below for sizing, some of our different styles are cut slightly different. Measure yourself and trust the measurement below, we have 1,000’s of test cases we rely on. These measurements are the size of the suit, you will need to buy a suit that is smaller than your actual measurements.

1mm - a lot, 6 to 8 inches, buy these tight How much will they stretch? Good question, it depends... Since we deal in some really big suits, different parts of the body are more easily squished than others but as a general guideline:
3mm - a good 4 to 6 inches
5mm - 2 to 4 inches no problem
7mm - 2 inches

Now keep in mind the bigger the suit the more stretch, a 6x suit has more surface space to stretch than a Xs. Think of stretching a small rubber band vs a larger one.

Great fit for bigger male December 18, 2016
Reviewer: Matthew Todd from Bristol, WI United States
Had a 6xl tommy and it was too big. I choose to go a size down and love it. I'm a bigger male. 5'11". 345 lbs. inseam is shorter. My legs are solid and not fat. Most of my weight is in my gut. So with that being said this suit fits great like my smaller counter parts. No air gaps in the suit and fits great.

Hope this helps with bigger men wondering about fit.

Great Wetsuit-- Great Value! July 16, 2016
Reviewer: JR from Rockaway, NJ United States
Just used my wetsuit for the first time, in a cold quarry dive. It was great! Perfect fit and sturdy construction. Tommy Ds was very helpful in getting me the right size (6X!) which the dive shop was not able to provide as a rental!
